Located along the banks of the Des Plaines River, this scenic loop hike explores the heavily-forested nature preserve of Wright Woods. The area offers lots of opportunity for birdwatching due to the lush vegetation that is home to a wide variety of birdlife. There are multiple connecting trails within the preserve, some of which connect to trails in the Half Day Preserve, providing hikers and bikers with lots of ways to customize their trip.
