This small forest preserve is a great place to stop and enjoy nature with a little solitude right in the middle of a busy suburb of Chicago. The paved trails lead visitors through woodlands full of diverse vegetation and wildlife. The trails are multi-use and are popular with hikers, bikers, runners, and cross-country skiers. The forest preserve is also located along the popular Salt Creek Greenway Trail making it a good stopping point for those who are out on a long ride or hike exploring the whole area.
