The mysterious rocks at the end of the trail have legends behind it. They vary from glacier melt to UFOs. Be aware in the spring this trail is shared with turkey hunters and in the fall deer hunters please wear bright orange in those seasons, avoid wearing white. Part of the trail is shared with mountain bikers and equestrians. Remember to yield to horses. Mountain bikers yield to hikers and equestrians. This area has a high concentration of rattle snakes, wear high-top leather boots and use caution around rocks and logs. There are parts of this hike that stay wet, even during dry weather. The topography of this hike has many variations. Remember to bring your water. No fees.
