This trail runs parallel to U.S. Highway 12. It is best to use off –road or hybrid tires. It has areas with gravel, sand, several big puddles and mud. Some parts of the trail are wide and some very narrow. There are paths that connect this trail to the shore of Lake Michigan. There are hikers that use this trail. Mid summer the trail has wild flowers that are shoulder high on the sides.
