To get on this trail you will go through part of trail 1. And to get to the sand dunes you will hike part of this path to get to trail 3. Bird watching is plenteous with the chance of seeing some rare species. The topography offers plenty of variety. A lot of wetlands, some sand and grassy prairie. The park charges an entrance fee from May to September. At the end of the trail you will find the restrooms, unfortunately there is no drinking water.
