The sand dunes are on trail 3. From the parking lot, you have to walk through parts of trail 1 and 2 to get here. Here is where you find the sand dunes. You will walk many different types of topography. The sand dunes have a climb of 200 feet. Passing the dunes, you have access to the lakeshore. . The park charges an entrance fee from May to September. At the end of the trail you will find the restrooms, unfortunately there is no drinking water.
