Stop at the heron rookery. The Great Blue Herons are visible from mid-March through early May. Watch as they repair their nests, there are over 100 nests. The spring flowers are best during spring. You can also observe the fish in the Little Calumet River. Bring your own water. There are no restroom facilities.
