This campground is designed for horse camping, however, other campers are welcome. It is also the trailhead for the Hickory Ridge Trail. The camping is primitive, but guests have access to vault toilets and hitching posts. Water is available for livestock but not tested as safe for human consumption. Horses and mountain bike riders age 17 years and older are required to have a permit and stay on designated trails.
