Two lakes in one, Hovey and Dry Lake cover plenty of ground. You can paddle through the trees, in the spring months; they are covered with migratory birds. You can see a vast wintering waterfowl population and bald eagle nests in the towering bald cypress. The only powerboat allowed on the lake is electric. Wind could be dangerous. Watch out for hunters during hunting season.
