This paddle goes through a chain of lakes that are interconnected through channels. The channel from Gordy Lake to Hindman Lake is very narrow (room for one canoe) and you might encounter log liftovers. You will find a Boy Scout Camp on the East Shore of Gordy Lake. There are powerboats in the larger lakes, but once you go through the narrow channels, they stay behind.
