Bring your own watercraft or rent one at the lake. Wind can be a challenge in the open areas. Bring bug spray for the hot summer months and be aware hunters are allowed during hunting season. The lake will be closed during main waterfowl season and early teal. Wildlife and waterfowl are abundant here.
