To get to the Martin Lake, one must launch their canoe or kayak at the Oliver Lake North ramp, paddle through it, go through the channel to Olin Lake at the south end, paddle through Olin Lake and go through the channel at the south east end of it. At the Olin Lake, there is only one spot to beach your boat. That is on the southeast of the small island where hiking trail 5 is marked. If you choose to do so, bring insect repellent. There is no launching ramp at the Martin Lake.
