At the Mongo Dam Tailwater, the Pigeon Creek becomes Pigeon River. Throughout the long waterfront, you will see migratory waterfowl. The river has a slow current that allows you to paddle upstream. If you don’t have a canoe or kayak, you may rent it from the Park.
