You will see some of the finest hardwood forest here. The park has pit toilets at the camping facilities and seasonal drinking water. Primitive camping is permitted for a fee. No swimming in any of the lakes. Gold panning is allowed with a permit. Hikers are advised to wear something hunter orange or bright colors during hunting season. The trailheads are found at Cherry Lake and Bryant’s Creek Lake. The topography is rich and varies between extremes. Bring water for the long trail. No fees.
