You are in the Hoosiers Natural Forest, hardwoods all around. This trail can be split in half or done from beginning to end. There are a few river and creek crossings without a bridge. You might want to bring different shoes for that. On the northeast shore of both lakes, you will find sandstone bluffs. There is a parking fee from April 15 through October 15.
