Brushy Creek State Recreation Area is one of Iowa’s prime outdoor destinations. The lake is the deepest artificial permanent pool lake in Iowa. This campground is known as the Beach Campground and is for non-equestrian camping. There is a variety of sites including electric sites, non-electric sites, and full hookup sites. Campers have access to restrooms, showers, a playground, and two large day-use areas.
