Bitternut Lake Campground is located in the Farmington Unit of Shimek State Forest. There are 8 sites for tent camping available on a first come, first serve basis. Campers have access to restrooms, a boat ramp to Black Oak Lake, a picnic area, and fishing dock. There are tons of hiking trails to explore in this area.
