The beginning of this adventure goes through a narrow 200-foot-deep river valley. The views will vary from bluff with mixed woods, prairies and yellow soils. If you choose to make this a shorter adventure than what is mapped, you can take out up stream of the County R21 Bridge on the river left. When you get to the Boone Forks Wildlife Area, you will take a hard left. Pass the Shiloh Road Bridge and take out will be on the left.
