The beautiful views on this stretch of the Cedar River are hard to beat. The tight channels are braided through small islands. After the tight braid, the river widens to 140 feet. If you wish to make this adventure shorter or start it from a lower point, there is the Bennett Access. You will flow pass by the remains of a rock dam. Take right under the pontoon bridge, they are sweeper hazards and can easily flip your vessel. Take out is just ahead on the river right after the next bridge.
