Cyclists, in line skating, hikers and joggers, share the Charles city Trail. It is adjacent to the Cedar River for part of it. It goes over the only suspension bridge in Iowa. You will ride through neighborhoods, business area and enjoy the ride along the river with some wooded areas, parks and views of the river. It is wide and paved all the way through.
