In Fort Madison, you will ride by architectural gems from the 19th century. From Madison you will also have limited views of the Mississippi River. Riding through rolling farmland and Denmark you will have some patches of wooded areas, but mostly no shade. During the summer months wear sun screen and bring plenty of water for your ride.
