There are different views on this trip; high trestle rail bridge, wooded ridge, protruding boulder, cottonwood and elm bluff and deeply wooded area with oaks and maples on the uplands. There is dam that you can go over. You should go to the river right to do that, this is at the very beginning, right after you put in. The take out is on right river at the Dolliver Memorial State Park boat ramp
