You will see sandstone outcroppings, loess faces, sand slopes and sandstone exposures. When the water is high, at the Ledges State Park, you can take out and go explore the sandstone cliffs. On this trip you will see the most amazing sandstone cliffs of the river, with sheer faces around 50 feet high and behind them, the bluffs. Shortly before the bridge for county E57, take out at the boat ramp on the left.
