Shortly after put-in you will have two riffles and large sized boulders with tree-studded savannah lowlands to maneuver through. On a normal rainfall year, you will see a small spring trickling from the bluff. When the bottom turns to gravel, you will experience the current slowing down. As the river bends south, there will be a long riffle going through many rounded boulders on the way to the Hardin City Bridge. Take out is on the river right passing the bridge.
