This section begins just below Hydro Dam. There is a swift channel where you will have to maneuver around small islands and snags. When the river turns sharply to the left, do cut the corner short, there is fast current sweeper at the river’s south bank. There are a few riffles, the river slows and gets wider as you enter the wooded area. Be watchful for a riffle upstream of 160th Street Bridge. Take out on river left after the Railroad Ave.
