A river filled with adventure and opportunities to test your maneuvering skills. Shortly after you put in, there is a 1-foot drop with an electric wire across it, portage on the river right. Then you will paddle into big boulders and bedrock outcroppings. When you are done with the rocks, get ready for the riffles ahead. Upstream from the Otter Road Bridge a small island divides a riffle. If you curve to the right, the river drops over an 18-inch ledge, go left. Towards the end, it is quite serene, with a few riffles. The take out is on the river right at a concrete ramp at the Auburn Canoe Access.
