Lower Gar is one of the five Iowa Great Lakes chain, the other four are, West Okoboji, East Okoboji, Minnewashta and Upper Gar. It connects with the Minnewashta Access. It has a boat ramp to launch your boat and several areas to fish along the shoreline.
