Going through the city you will ride by some 19th century Main Street homes. As you head out into the countryside, you will go by farmland with rolling hills, and enjoy views of the Iowa river valley. The streets are paved. Because of city and farmland, in the hot summer months, there is no shade. Wear sunscreen and bring plenty of drinking water.
