You will go through several riffles on this trip. There are hills and the river becomes swift at certain points, and may require maneuvering around snags. Put in is downstream from the Lenon Mill Dam, right after putting in you may see anglers casting for smallmouth bass and walleye. If you choose to fish, remember, it is catch and release. You will also encounter small rapids and a little bit of a lazy river. After passing the old bridge’s abutment, you will se a couple of homes; right after the homes, there is an island.
