This trip will take you by a small island, and limestone ledges with wooded banks. There are boulders on the woodland slope; you will have to navigate to dodge snags in swift water. Be watchful for large boulders, after you pass them, the river narrows and becomes swift, running over a small ledge; stay in the center. The views will change from wooded areas to farmland and back to wooded areas. Take out is at the Pammel State Park, upstream from the ford, on the river right.
