This is one of the three lakes on the south edge of the East Okoboji Lake being a part of the Iowa Great Lakes. It is located in the City of Arnolds. Lake Minnewashta connects Upper Gar Lake at the Sawmill Bridge and connects to Lower Gar Lake at the Trails Bridge.
