Elk Rock State Park is located on Iowa’s largest body of water. There are two campground to choose from. The modern campground is for campers without horses and contains a total of 31 sites, some with electric hookups and some without. Guests have access to a building with showers, and restrooms as well as a trailer dump station. There is also a self-dispensing firewood machine. Cost per night begins at $6 for tent sites and $11 for electric hookup sites.
