There is a carry down the boat at the put in. You will navigate through riffles and rocky outcroppings throughout. With a few small rapids, be watchful of snags along the way. Be prepared to go through a series of swift, narrow bends as you go through the forests. At high water, this stretch is specially demanding. Check each bend for strainers and sweepers. There is a 50-yard long rapid that you will want to scout before you run it. The take out is downstream from the covered bridge and before the concrete bridge on the river left.
