Prairie Rose State Park has 2 campgrounds to choose from that are both on the south end of the lake. The East campground has both electric and full hookup sites and has more amenities. Each site contains a picnic table and fire ring. Campers have access to drinking water, restrooms, showers, and trash removal. There is also a basketball court, horseshoe pits, and playground. Some of the activities that campers enjoy are hiking, swimming, biking, and snowmobiling and cross-country skiing during the winter months.
