On this side of the lake, you will enjoy sandstone outcropping and lines of bluffs. You might have to scoot over sandy shoals. Although inconvenient, they keep the powerboats and jet skis away from the low west end of the lake. As you see the scenic rocks, they are great to hike on foot. You will also see little caves on the water line and above it. The largest cave fits a single kayak.
