The views will vary from wooded areas, to farming rolling hills, rocky edges, grassy banks and old bridges. Paddle the swift and rocky stretch through town as you put in. When the trees thin, you will see a sign “low-head dam”. Most of the time, it is doable. When water is sufficient, you can go either to the left or the center channel easily. You will pass through sharp swift turns. Take out is at Plymouth’s Strand Park, on the river left, downstream from the 340 Street trestle bridge.
