Swift waters are plenteous on this trip. There will be many riffles and chutes. Stay left at the first island which takes you through small rapids. After leaving the bluff the bottom of the river becomes sandy and you need watch for snags. The Christopher Spring comes in from a bluff on the left. you will hear and see the Malanaphy Springs. It cascades more than 10 feet straight into the river. Looking up, you will see different cascades up the bluff. You can climb about 80 vertical feet to where they start. Just upstream the bridge, on the river left is the take out, where you will carry your boat 100-yards to the parking lot.
