Best to visit spring through fall. This is a paved and long trail. Hikers and cyclists share the path. It can be crowded on weekends and evenings. The Walnut Creek has small islands; a lot of the time, deer and other wild life swim to rest on those. It connects the Western and Clive Greenbelt Trails. No fees or permits required.
