This stretch of the Wapsi River is unusual. It has several riffles that are not fast and still add some adventure. Going downstream will take you through riffles, wooded areas; it will drop 8 inches on its course and joins a ridge with a rocky bank. There is a boat ramp at the take out, right after the bridge on the river right. Interesting fact, the take out has a 80-foot up hill climb to take you to your parking, which is the parking lot of a pub.
