Waubonsie State Park has unique and rare scenery of Loes hills. It is also home of the Lewis and Clark Historical Trail. The Modern campground has both electric sites and non-electric sites. Campers have access to restrooms, showers, and a dump station. Lake Virginia is located in the Wa-Shawtee Unit and has great fishing and canoeing opportunities. Several trails are also available in the park for exploring.
