The White Oak Campground is located in the off Donnellson Road in the Donnellson Unit of Shimek State Forest. It is small and has 11 sites available for tent or trailer camping on a first come, first serve basis. These sites are primitive camping with limited facilities. A vault toilet is provided. Hiking trails and picnic areas are nearby.
