Council Grove Reservoir is a 3,280-acre lake with a maximum depth of 56 feet located near the city of Council Grove. It has a scenic, rocky shoreline and an abundance of picnic, camping, boating, a hiking opportunities. Wildlife viewing is common and includes migrating waterfowl, bald eagles, woodland birds, small woodland animals, and much more. Around the shores there are six different parks and wildlife areas that are well-kept and provide great views.
