Hodgeman County State Lake is an 87-acre lake, when full, and is located within a beautiful State Wildlife Area. The surrounding land and scenery consists of mostly native grass and timber. When the water levels are up, the lake is stocked with Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Bluegills, and Redear Sunfish. Hunting is allowed on all properties of the Hodgeman County State Park surrounding the lake and common wildlife includes mule deer, pheasant, dove, rabbit, and waterfowl.
