Kirwin Reservoir is a 5,000-acre reservoir located in the Kirwin National Wildlife Refuge. Lots of waterfowl are found here as well as prairie dogs, squirrels, jackrabbits, mule deer, burrowing owls, red-tailed hawks, and many more observable species. Surrounding the lake is a beautiful blend of riparian woodlands, mixed grass prairie, and cultivated land. The views are great and the lake is very peaceful. Camping, fishing, picnicking, and hunting are other recreational opportunities available.
