Located in Lake Scott State Park, this is a great place for family recreation and provides an ideal setting for boating, swimming, and fishing as well as hiking and wildlife viewing. Great swimming beaches are found on the shores and there are long, beautiful views too. The scenery contains lovely trees and grassy areas along the shores, park roads and campsites, and the hiking trail that circles the park, and some hills and craggy bluffs in the distance. Fishing is good for Catfish, Largemouth Bass, and Sunfish, along with others. Great camping sites are located in the park next to the lake and wildlife includes wild turkey, deer, bobcat, and beaver. Canoe and paddleboat rentals are available as well as fishing supplies.
