This part of the Neosho River is nestled in the northern part of the Flint Hills and flows through the Council Grove Wildlife Area. It is enjoyed by boaters, hunters, anglers, and bird-watchers. The abundance of wildlife, good fishing, and spectacular scenery makes this a great place to paddle. The put-in and take-out are both at the Neosho River Boat Ramp at Canning Creek Cove. Paddle upstream and explore the intimate reaches of this beautiful creek.
