Ottawa State Fishing Lake is a 111-acre lake located in the Ottawa State Fishing Lake and Wildlife Area and has a maximum depth of 11 feet. Fishing is great for Largemouth Bass, Saugeye, Catfish, and Crappie. In addition to fishing and paddling, the area offers great wildlife viewing, hunting, and camping. Wildlife includes white tail deer, turkey, Canada geese, and bald eagle in the winter months. The scenery is very pretty and mostly forested with some open grassy areas.
