Santa Fe Lake is located on the outskirts of Wichita and this small mountain biking area is a fun spot to go for a short ride. There are about 1.5 miles of trails interwoven in a wooded section of land straddling a creek that flows out of Santa Fe Lake. Some technical riding is required as there is moderate to difficult singletrack, some short climbs and descents, tight corners, rocks and roots, and man-made stone embankments. Competitive races are occasionally held here. A very pretty waterfall is one highlight of this trail.
