Webster Reservoir, located in Webster State Park, was constructed in 1958 and was added to the Kansas park system in 1965. There are many great campsites surrounding the lake and five boat ramps and public docks create ample launching facilities. Great fishing is available and the lake contains a wide variety of fish. The scenery is very pretty and consists of a large prairie with rolling hills and gorgeous skies. There are also playgrounds, hiking trails, and other recreation opportunities in the park surrounding the lake.
