Barren River State Park sits near the shoreline of Barren River Lake and is just 30 miles south of Mammoth Cave National Park. The state park campground features over 100 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs of all sizes. Sites include electric and water hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits. There are a few tent-only sites available as well. Park amenities also include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a dump station, playground, store, boat ramp, and more. Reservations are available but only up until the day before arrival. Nightly rates vary between $20-$35 per night depending on site selected and time of stay.
